DISCIPLINE POLICY
Peace and order are essential to learning. The practice of civilized Christian behavior is essential to a learning community.
Respect, order, politeness and obedience are necessary conditions for a session to function well. Catechists are instructed to explain rules in accordance with the principles and policies of SARE.
Grades 1-12
If any of the Basic Rules of Behavior are violated the child will be sent to the Office and the parents/guardian called. The parent/guardian may be asked to meet with the catechist or Director.
- Anyone displaying disruptive verbal or physical behavior will receive a verbal warning.
- At the second verbal warning the child will be sent to the Office and that child's parent/guardian will be called to take them home.
As a child grows older, it is expected that he/she will mature in behavior. It is important that adolescents develop good manners and virtuous behavior at this stage in their development so that they become healthy, responsible, mature adults.
Anything illegal, including behavior will be reported to the police and then the parents.
